The Fourth Key to Transformation: Magick
Why I Fell in Love with Magick
A lot of the work I do is Magick.
I know that word can make some people uncomfortable. Years ago, it made me uncomfortable too.
Most people hear the word "magick" and imagine something supernatural, mysterious, or impossible. But the way I have come to understand it is much simpler.
Magick is the art of creating space for new possibilities to exist.
So often, we live inside limitations. We are told what is realistic, what is achievable, what is available to us, and sometimes even who we are allowed to become.
"No, that's not possible."
"No, you can't do that."
"No, life doesn't work that way."
Yet many of us have experienced moments when life surprises us. We let go of an expectation, shift our perspective, or make a different choice, and suddenly an opportunity appears that we never saw before.
One of the things I love most about magick is that it continually surprises me. Just when I think I know how something should unfold, life reveals a possibility I hadn't considered.
In the Modern Mystery School tradition, Magick (spelled with a "k") refers to specific teachings and practices that have been preserved and refined over thousands of years. These teachings contain particular keys that help align our thoughts, energy, actions, and intentions toward a desired outcome.
The healings and activations I facilitate come from this lineage. Over the years, I have witnessed people experience profound shifts: new opportunities appearing unexpectedly, relationships healing, insights arriving at exactly the right time, and pathways opening where there once seemed to be none.
Some people call these miracles. Others call them coincidence.
I simply know that when we learn to work consciously with the forces of life rather than against them, possibilities begin to emerge that we could not previously see.
I have witnessed this in my own life many times.
Before finding the home I live in today, my family spent years repositioning our finances, renovating a property, creating a clear vision for what we wanted, and steadily working toward it. We took practical steps while continuing to apply the teachings and lineage tools I had learned.
Then something shifted.
What had once felt beyond reach suddenly felt possible.
Opportunities appeared that we had not seen before. Conversations happened at the right time. Doors opened. Within a relatively short period, we found ourselves standing in a home that had once seemed like a distant dream.
Looking back, that is what magick often looks like in real life.
Not a lightning bolt from the sky, but a series of seemingly ordinary events aligning in extraordinary ways.
Perhaps that is why I fell in love with it.
Not because it helped me escape reality, but because it helped me experience more of it.
It taught me that there are often more possibilities available than we can currently see.
It taught me that our perspective shapes our experience of life.
And it taught me that when we learn to work intentionally with the forces available to us, change can happen far more quickly than we imagine.
What if there are more possibilities available to you than you currently see?
What if some of the limitations you have accepted are not fixed truths, but simply perspectives that can be transformed?
These are the questions that led me to study magick.
Years later, I am still amazed by what becomes possible when we learn how to work with it.
Life is an incredible adventure when we remember who we are, learn the tools available to us, and begin consciously directing our lives toward what we truly desire.
No pressure. Simply a space to listen more deeply, explore what is calling you forward, and discover the next step on your path.
