Learning to Trust the Process

We all reach moments in life when we begin to wonder if we are still on the right path.

Perhaps you made the brave decision to move forward. You committed to new practices, opened yourself to new opportunities, and began making different choices.

And then life happened…

Challenges appeared. Progress seems slower than expected. The clarity you once felt becomes harder to find.

You begin to wonder:

“Am I actually moving forward?”

“When will I finally see where all of this is leading?”

“How do I know I’m on the right path?”

I have learned that growth rarely happens in a straight line.

We often imagine transformation as a series of breakthroughs; those beautiful moments when everything suddenly makes sense, and we feel as though we have reached the next level.

But much of growth happens somewhere else.

In the ordinary days.

In the small decisions.

In the unexpected conversations.

In the moments when we choose differently than we did before.

Sometimes the most significant movement is happening quietly, beneath the surface, long before we can see the result.

Learning to Trust What We Cannot See Yet

Trust allows us to keep moving when we cannot see the entire picture.

It softens our impatience.

It loosens our need to control every outcome.

And it gives us this space to recognise that life may be unfolding in ways we could not have planned ourselves.

This doesn’t mean sitting back and waiting for things to happen.

Quite the opposite.

Trust asks us to participate.

To take the next practical step.

To listen.

To remain open.

To notice what life is showing us.

And sometimes, when we do, seemingly unrelated pieces begin to come together.

Some people call these moments coincidence.

Others call them miracles.

I have come to understand them as part of the mystery of life, the extraordinary possibilities that can emerge when we learn to work consciously with the forces available to us rather than constantly pushing against them.

When Magick Becomes Practical

I have witnessed this in my own life many times.

Before finding the home I live in today, my family spent years repositioning our finances, renovating property, creating a clearer vision of what we wanted, and taking practical steps toward it.

We didn’t simply wish for something different.

We worked toward it while continuing to apply the teachings and tools I and my husband had received through our spiritual training with Modern Mystery School.

And then something shifted.

What had once felt beyond reach suddenly felt possible.

Opportunities appeared that we hadn’t previously seen. Conversations happened at the right time. Doors opened.

Within a relatively short period, we found ourselves standing in a home that had once seemed like a distant dream.

Looking back, I realise that this is often what Magick looks like in everyday life.

Not a lightning bolt from the sky.

Not an escape from reality,

But a series of seemingly ordinary events aligning in extraordinary ways.

Magick taught me to become more attentive to those moments.

To recognise possibilities where I might once have seen limitations.

To take action while remaining open to outcomes I could not yet imagine.

And perhaps most importantly, to trust that I don’t always need to know exactly how something will unfold before taking the next step.

Sacred Geometry: Working the Patterns of Life

This is one of the reasons Sacred Geometry has become such a fascinating expression of Magick for me.

Sacred Geometry explores the patterns, proportions, and forms that appear throughout nature and the universe. Within the Modern Mystery School tradition, these geometries are approached not simply as concepts to study, but as tools for engaging more consciously with our environment, our awareness, and the energy we experience around us.

What I love about this work is that it brings ancient teaching into something tangible.

Rather than simply learning about the patterns of creations, you begin to explore how they can be consciously worked with in your own life and environment.

Within the Sacred Geometry class, you are introduced to specific geometries and practices intended to support greater awareness and harmony. You learn ways of working with these forms within your personal space and everyday surroundings, creating an opportunity to become more conscious of how you experience yourself and the environment around you.

For me, this is where Magick becomes beautifully practical.

We begin to recognise that life is not simply happening to us.

We are participating in it.

And the more consciously we participate, the more possibilities we may begin to notice.

Perhaps that is what learning to trust the process has really taught me.

I don’t need to have every answer.

I don’t need to see the entire path.

I don’t need to know where every decision will lead.

I can take the step that is available to me now.

I can listen.

I can remain curious.

I can work with the tools I have been given.

And I can trust the next piece will reveal itself when I am ready to meet it.

What if the uncertainty you are experiencing isn’t evidence that you’re lost?

What if it is simply an invitation to trust more deeply?

What if there are possibilities available to you that you cannot yet see?

These are the questions that continue to draw me deeper into Magick.

Because life becomes an incredible adventure when we stop demanding that it reveal the entire map and begin learning how to consciously walk the path.

Sometimes the way forward is not about knowing what comes next.

Sometimes it is simply trusting enough to take the next step.

No pressure. Simply a space to listen more deeply, explore what is calling you forward, and discover the next step on your path.
