You Are Not Here to Surrender to Fate

Hello from Toronto, Canada!

I arrived late last night for the annual Modern Mystery School Professional Development Program.

This is such an important time for our school community, as we gather from all over the world to reconnect, recommit, and realign - both to our collective Mission and to our own personal paths. It’s always a deeply powerful meeting of Light Workers, each of us dedicated to serving at the highest level we can.

 And you know… as much as I love this work, I have to be honest—it’s not always easy.

There have been so many moments when I’ve wanted to give up. In fact, I caught myself thinking about it again on the plane ride over here!

The truth is: when your mission is BIG, the challenges don’t magically disappear.

If anything, they sharpen. They stretch you.

Especially when you're in the process of outgrowing your current comfort zone.

So when challenges hit - what do you do?

Do you simply go with the flow?

Or do you stand up in your Godhood and actively choose to rise above and outgrow the problem?

I wrote the piece below with that in mind—because maybe you, too, are facing challenges right now.

I hope these words remind you of the power you hold—even in the toughest moments.

You Are Not Here to Surrender to Fate

 "Everything happens for a reason."

We say it to soothe, to explain, to ease the sting of what we don’t understand.

But let’s be honest…

It keeps you small.
It lets you off the hook from asking the deeper questions.

Ok, yes—there is a reason. They’re called consequences.

You see, there are no coincidences in your soul’s journey.
But that reason is never to leave you stuck in the same loop, playing out the same patterns. Over and over.

What happens to you is communication.

It’s your soul speaking.
It’s life itself begging you to wake up to your power.

Are you listening?

You are not here to endure cycles.
You are here to evolve them.
To heal them.
To outgrow them.

You are a soul on a mission—not a prisoner of fate.

A real spiritual path isn’t passive.
It’s not just sitting back and accepting what comes.

It demands something of you.
It asks you to meet life fully.
To pull back the veil.
To transmute every block into a breakthrough.

Challenges are not punishments.
They are activations.
They arise to awaken your magick.

Wounds surface to invite your healing.

Life patterns appear to ask:
Will you repeat, or will you rewire?

You didn’t come here to drift with the wind.
You didn’t come here to surrender your power to "whatever happens."

You came here to walk the Earth as Light.
To end cycles.
To transform lineage.
To transcend everything you thought you were.

You are an eternal being.
A God living in the physical.
Capable of far more than "everything happens for a reason."

The truth?

You are the reason.
